Raymond Domzalski Jr.

I am an experience designer living and working in southeast Michigan, USA. I did not always know that UX design was something I wanted to do - in fact, it wasn’t until 10 years into my career as a graphic designer and illustrator that I realized why I think and work the way that I do.

I have worked with companies both large and small - with physical and digital products - and each time I worked on the branding, marketing or promotion of those products and services I was met with the same feeling: I wish I could make an impact on the product itself. I was not satisfied with bending the message to make up for a shortcoming, or using design to elevate something that fell short in the customers hands. It was not long after I started building my skills as a UX designer that I realized I had found my home. I design not to give you the next hot brand or product - I don’t aim to build your user base quickly - I aim to build experiences that are so enjoyable that they gain you advocates, not just users.

My creative approach, no matter the client, is to find the path toward a hurdle-free experience. I use my experience with graphic design, illustration and marketing to understand how end-users take in a user-flow, how and where they struggle, and how they feel when they complete that flow to make products and services that are an extension of your brand identity.

When I’m not working with developers and project stakeholders I enjoy spending time with my family, keeping care of a (growing) collection of bonsai trees, learning languages (witaj Polsku!) and writing music.

I would love to start a conversation with you about how I can help build your next big experience.
